Systems Analyses & Solutions, Inc. (SAS, Inc.), the Tulsa-based technical and engineering company serving the power generation and process sectors, has appointed experienced chemical engineer, Roger H. Witte, to lead the business drive to market SAS’ new equipment lines to its clients.
As head of the sales and marketing drive to secure new business for SAS, Roger H. Witte will concentrate on the engineering analysis of customer equipment to resolve complex operational issues. Areas of specific focus include biomass gasifiers, enclosed flares, low-temperature catalytic oxidizers and biogas burners.
Roger H. Witte is a chemical engineer by training, having graduated from the Colorado School of Mines. Since then he has held a number of senior positions within John Zink Company LLC (combustion experience) and ConocoPhillips (refining operating experience). During his time with John Zink he presented at the John Zink Burner and Flare Schools and gained experience across starting up process burners, flares, incinerators, and gasoline recovery units for the company.
He joins SAS, Inc. from Tulsa Combustion LLC where he was Vice President Marketing and Sales, for over eight years, responsible for securing new business and using his engineering and combustions skills and experience to resolve customers’ combustion issues.

In addition, his technical training means that he can provide not just sales support but also specialist project management and know-how.”

Since the start of 2015, SAS, Inc. has secure projects related to providing specialized enclosed flare systems to support biomass gasification and also providing low NOx high efficiency biogas burners.
The company also continues to provide a comprehensive CFD combustion analysis service to resolve complex emissions–related combustion issues for power generators worldwide.
